Neighborhoods First Fund Website

The Neighborhoods First Fund (NFF) is a multi-year collaborative philanthropic initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of community-based organizations to fully participate in and proactively shape neighborhood planning, land use, housing, and community development decisions.

Developed in collaboration with Volum8 Creative, the Neighborhoods First Fund (NFF) website was rebuilt using WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to allow the client to easily manage content. This website aims to explain the scope of NFF’s community-based planning, showcase completed work, and manage documents, proposals, meeting minutes, and calendars.

My role involved:

  • Full Development: Completely developed the website from the ground up, starting from an XD design provided by Joe Frederick.
  • Document Migration: Migrated the existing document library to the new platform.
  • User Roles and Permissions: Managed different user roles and dashboard permissions to ensure secure and appropriate access.
  • Client Management: Utilized WordPress and ACF to provide a user-friendly content management system for the client.

The resulting website effectively communicates NFF’s mission, documents its achievements, and provides robust document management capabilities.
